Based on preliminary findings, it seems that Rowell may have purchased some land from Hoare or the Eggerts (in addition to the land where Rowell Ranch is currently located). There are a few records that show property was bought by Otto and Barbara Schaefer from James (Henry aka Harry) Rowell and Alma Eggert, but more research will be done to verify the accuracy of this claim and timelines.
